Despite spending most of his time in the cover of castle ruins and dense woods, Aryth sports a thick, healthy coat of warm colors. Ranging from a beige underbelly to a deep, russet-brown along his spine and the backs of his ears, the male is draped in all manners of sandy, earthen hues. Patterns of interweaving colors seem to highlight his straight jaw, handsome bone structure and brilliant, emerald-green eyes. He is neither large nor small, standing at about 32 inches. Most of the time, however, he's lying in front of a book, so his fur is often twined with loose pine needles and his shoulders are often hunched. A friendly, naive light shines in every wide-eyed glance.

Arythmetik is an aspiring professor, spending most of his time ardently studying the natural order of the world. Every book he could find has a trace of his scent and he, too, is doused in the distinct aroma of yellowed pages. But being a steadfast scholar doesn't mean that Aryth is anti-social. He doesn't seek parties or strictly social affairs, but he'll never turn down a good conversation or the opportunity to bond with a student or colleague. He is not aloof, but easily distracted; his neutral-good nature hides a passion for justice that rarely sees the light of day. An academic savant, Ayrth specializes in mathematics, science, and the natural order of the world.
history
The male's parents died at an early age, setting him on a path of self-discovery and independence. While he never did learn to hunt for himself with any lasting success, he instead found something else precious: a love for reading and learning. He taught himself to read and chose his own name from a book he encountered in his childhood: Arythmetik. It wasn't long afterward that the Lowland native found his way to Melrose, and then to the Arboretum. After a full year of study, the youth hopes to pursue the path of becoming a full-time professor for the College.
